Poplar live edge slabs are very affordable and available in wide widths. Poplar sapwood is white in color and then has a light green, and the heartwood is purple to black. If sawn in the winter the bark will stay on the natural edges, but if sawn in the summer the bark will fall off. Planed at 1-15/16" and random width and length. Kiln dried.
