When renovating a vintage home in the Asheville area, I needed to restore a considerable amount of original drop leaf siding which had been previously damaged by water intrusion and then covered with vinyl. The original was wider than any stock siding available today and the new siding had to match the existing profile perfectly so it could be woven in with any surviving original. Tidewater custom milled a perfect match in less time and for a lower price than initially estimated. My only concern is that the wood looks almost too nice to paint.
